Suspected herdsmen kill village head, abduct others in Tiv community in Nasarawa,

Suspected herdsmen launched a deadly attack on Tse Yange, a Tiv-dominated community in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State late Sunday night.

The attackers reportedly killed the village head and abducted several residents during the raid.

According to the report, the gunmen stormed the agrarian community on motorbikes in the night, unleashing terror and destruction.

A local source revealed that the assault lasted into the early hours of Monday, leaving many people injured and several homes deserted.
