Fans hold candlelight procession for Mohbad

Fans of the deceased pop singer Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, had come together to mourn and stage a peaceful protest to seek justice for the late singer who died on 12 September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances.

Followers and fans have been fuming that the late singer’s death was questionable, and many of them want relevant authorities to get to the root of the matter.

In the course of seeking justice and paying him last respect, fans staged a peaceful protest and candlelight procession across states, including Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Rivers, Abia, Edo, and many more. Many people outside Nigeria in countries such as Kenya, Atlanta, and Georgia, also gathered to pay Imole last respect.

Meanwhile, singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has cut short his trip overseas as he came back to Lagos, Nigeria, to pay Mohbad’s last respect. He joined thousands of fans to observe the candlelight procession in Lekki, as he had promised.

Fans hailed his humility and praised him for always being a good person.
