Youth leader, Raymond Nago Asema abducted by unknown uniformed men in Benue

Ambassador Raymond Nago Asema, a Youth leader, was abducted from his residence on Monday afternoon by unidentified men dressed in uniform and believed to be operatives of the Nigerian Police.

According to a statement from Emmanuel Slimchild Shishim, Chief of Staff to Asema, the youth leader was followed and forcefully taken shortly after returning home at around 2:30 pm.

The abductors did not disclose their identities or the destination where he was being taken.

No official confirmation or denial has been issued by the Nigeria Police Force or any other security agency regarding the incident.

The abduction has raised concern among the youths in Benue State, who regard Hon. Asema as a prominent advocate for their interests.

Authorities and security agencies have yet to provide further information as of the time of this report.
