Gov Yusuf fires SSG, Chief of Staff, moves Deputy to another ministry

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has, in a landmark cabinet reshuffle, sacked the Secretary to the Government, Abdullahi Bichi, and Chief of Staff, Shehu Sagagi, and redeployed Aminu Abdussalam, his Deputy Governor.

Sunusi Bature Dawkin Tofa, the Governor’s Spokesperson, dropped the hint, explaining that SSG Bichi was sacked on a health ground while the office of the Chief of Staff was completely scrapped.
