Jigawa Governor loses son 24 hours after mother’s death

Barely 24 hours after the passing of his mother, Umar Namadi, Jigawa State Governor, has lost his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi.

Hamisu Mohammed Gumel, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Jigawa State, confirmed this to journalists.

Abdulwahab Umar Namadi tragically died in a fatal car accident while travelling from Kafin Hausa to Dutse.

According to reports, Abdulwahab lost control while driving, causing the vehicle to somersault.

While Abdulwahab died on the spot, his friends who were with him sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Dutse General Hospital.

His remains have been deposited to Kafin Hausa for burial.
