Kogi governor appoints additional 1,192 aides

Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State has appointed an additional 1,192 aides.

Dr Folashade Ayoade, Secretary to the State Government, announced in a statement on Monday, August 19, 2024.

She said the aides include “Yakubu Abdulhakeem as the Executive Secretary, Kogi State Office for Disability, 165 Senior Special Assistants, and 36 Special Assistants.

“Others on the list are 290 Local Government Special Assistants and 574 Ward Special Assistants”, the statement read.

He also approved the appointment of Ibrahim Abdulsadiq as Director of Protocol, First Lady Office, in addition to other retinue of aides.

While congratulating the appointees, Governor Ododo urged them to put in their best to the service of the state and humanity at large.

According to the statement, all appointments take effect from September 1, 2024.
