NIPR mourns demise of Ondo SSG
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Ondo State Chapter (Ondo-NIPR) is saddened by the death of Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, on January 4, 2025.
In a statement signed by Funmilayo Ikueduranni, the President, and Sunday Olusegun Omosule, Secretary, the Institute described the late SSG as “a distinguished public servant, celebrated for his exceptional leadership, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to Ondo State’s development.”
The statement further read, “The Ondo-NIPR commiserates with the Government of Ondo State, the family of the deceased, and the Akure Community, where Mr. Oluwatuyi hailed from. We pray that God grants them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
“As a professional body, we recognize Mr. Oluwatuyi’s commitment to excellence, transparency, and accountability in public service. His leadership style and vision for Ondo State’s development have, for quite a number of years, been a source of inspiration to many.”
“We urge all citizens to join us in mourning the loss of this exceptional leader. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and unite the people of Ondo State,” the statement concluded.
