Ondo Assembly begins impeachment move against Deputy Governor

The Ondo State House of Assembly has begun the process of impeaching Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa the deputy governor.
The Deputy Governor was charged by the House with engaging in some serious misbehavior while in office as the Acting Governor.
In order to accomplish this, the House ordered Mr. Benjamin Jaiyeola, the Clerk of the House, at the plenary session on Wednesday to inform Aiyedatiwa of the accusations leveled against him.
The petition, which has the support of nine out of the 26 members of the House, was read at the meeting’s plenary, which was presided over by Speaker Olamide Oladiji.
