Wike, PDP BoT meet behind closed doors

Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Tuesday had a closed-door meeting with members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) led by Senator Adolphus Wabara.

Although journalists were barred from the meeting speculations were rife that it was part of efforts to resolve the lingering crisis in the party, especially in Rivers state.

The BoT had in August written Wike, seeking a meeting, just days after meeting with Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State.

It was not immediately clear whether the BoT was able to reach a resolution with the minister.
