Tinubu welcomes Chinese ambassador in Abuja

Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday received H.E. Mr Yu Dunhai, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, along with Mr. Zhu Songbo, a senior official from the Chinese embassy, at the State House in Abuja.

Mr Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, confirmed the meeting via his X page.

Details of the discussions were yet to be made public as of press time.

In recent months, President Tinubu has repeatedly emphasized Nigeria’s commitment to building strong international partnerships to advance the country’s development objectives.
